The second annual Ottawa Reggae Festival happens August 21-23, at Lebreton Flats Festival Park in the heart of downtown Ottawa. This year’s festival will feature live performances by a number of dancehall / reggae artistes including Baby Cham, Shaggy, Tanya Stephens, Pressure, Reese Badda, Danielle Aka D.I. and others. The 2009 edition of the Calgary Reggae Festival (Calgary ReggaeFest) happens tomorrow (Saturday), August 15 at Shaw Millennium Park (1220 – 9 Avenue SW Calgary, Alberta). It will run from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm (Gates close at 9:30 pm).
The show’s line up includes Beres Hammond, Culture Brown, Culture featuring Kenyatta Hill, Friendlyness and the Human Rights, Greg Crowe & The Scarlet Union, Tasha T, Lenya Wilks and others.
